Alyssa contacted me as soon as she heard I was a newborn photographer on a local FB group. Her daughter, Amelia, was already 2 weeks old. She wanted to also have family portraits done with their new addition. Alyssa knew she wanted pinks and reds included in the design of her session.
This family was so sweet and so in love with their new baby girl. They make such a beautiful family! Don’t you think?
Amelia came to the studio dressed and ready for her family portraits. Look how cute that little dress is on her. Big brother, Christopher, Dad, Brandon, and mom, Alyssa all dressed to impress. They did such a good job coordinating.
Brandon bought his daughter this beautiful dress. Alyssa had a childhood lovely that she wanted to be in the pictures. I just love when parents include props that mean something to them and their family.
Amelia’s birth story was dramatic to say the least. It is an absolute miracle that both Alyssa and Amelia are healthy and happy. Brandon was their rock through such a scary time. Amelia was born on Valentine’s Day which is absolute perfection.
I bought this prop specifically for Amelia, the Valentine’s baby. This heart prop worked out so well to highlight this precious, sweet baby. I love how her legs folded in a heart shape as well.
Christopher and his baby sister. What’s not to love? The way Christopher adored his little sister was so endearing. He was proud to lay there all cuddled up with her. I can even see a smile coming across Amelia’s face. So precious!

I am married to the love of my life who has recently retired from the Army. We are back “home” after being away for 21 years. We have 3 young boys and 1 daughter who is pursuing her college career. As a photographer, I specialize in the newborns and maternity portraits. I just love the amazing process of pregnancy and then having that sweet, new bundle of joy to love. Capturing all that is so important and I feel so blessed to be a part of this special time in my client’s lives.
