This family was so sweet and so in love with their new baby boy. And what a beautiful family they made. Can you believe this baby has so much hair already at only 11 days old?!
Adonis came to the studio well fed and asleep from the car ride to the studio. His parents took him out of the car seat and he slept right through it. I couldn’t have asked for a better scenario for newborn posing. He slept right through almost every pose. I had the studio very warm so that he would be comfortable through the naked baby poses. I had even warmed the posing table with a heating pad on a very low setting.
Aliyah decided to buy a couple outfits for her newborn session. These outfits are so adorable. Adonis woke up for his brown knit outfit and I took the opportunity to get some awake images as opposed to getting him back to sleep. I’m so glad I did because it brought great variety to his gallery and I’m sure Aliyah and Steve both loved seeing images of their son awake and he even looked right into the camera. What a great moment to capture. God truly blessed this session.
Aliyah expressed to me that she really wanted to get some pictures of Adonis with Steve’s uniform. I loved the idea and put this set together for them. They brought Steve’s uniform and I placed it into the basket on top of this American flag scarf. We even had his dog tags included. What a special memory to hold on to when capturing this very special moment in their lives.
This setup was last and kind of a bonus. I knew it wasn’t something Aliyah had asked for but I wanted to include it if Adonis was doing well during the session. I am so glad we did have the time and patience to include it because it turned out to be some of my favorite images to date. He looks so sweet all wrapped up and cozy. I may have to print this one for my studio!
Even though there’s the coronavirus pandemic, we can still schedule your newborn’s session so we capture your family’s precious present moments. Like the rest of the country my nonessential studio is currently closed. But we can still schedule it and hope for the best. I can do newborn sessions up to one month old, so we have flexibility with scheduling. Send me an email and I will answer anything you would like to know about a session. I am married to the love of my life who has recently retired from the Army. We are back “home” after being away for 21 years. We have 3 young boys and 1 daughter who is pursuing her college career. As a photographer, I specialize in the newborns and maternity portraits. I just love the amazing process of pregnancy and then having that sweet, new bundle of joy to love. Capturing all that is so important and I feel so blessed to be a part of this special time in my client’s lives.
