Birthday Princess Studio Session

Sharmaine booked a sisters session right before Covid hit. We had to postpone but when we finally got the chance we booked the Twinkle Sky session. It turned out so perfect of her beautiful little girls.
She knew from then on that she also wanted to do birthday sessions for her girls. Her oldest is turning four. This session was inspired by some of the images Sharmaine had found that she adored. Gaby looks just like a princess for her birthday session and she was so much fun to photograph.

Princess at 4

Not having a little girl of my own makes these sessions SO MUCH FUN to design and edit. Love it so much. I miss out on girly stuff being an all boys mom. I love that I can bring on the feminine, soft, and lovely decor and photograph little girls in beautiful dresses.
Gaby is such a little princess at 4 years old. Twirling, laughing, and smiling for her pictures. So cute.

Happy as can be

I brought in a fan to get Gaby’s hair blowing and it made her giggle. She was happy as can be being on this set and even tried some of the cake icing(she just couldn’t help herself lol) She loved this balloon and playing with it while I clicked away.

Personal Favorite

Directing Gaby into different poses and movements brought about this beautiful pose which is my own personal favorite. It reminds me of elegant dancers. That sweet little face added on top of this pose makes it a gem to my eyes!

Misty Treptau

I am married to the love of my life who has recently retired from the Army. We are back “home” after being away for 21 years. We have 3 young boys and 1 daughter who is pursuing her college career. As a photographer, I specialize in the newborns and maternity portraits. I just love the amazing process of pregnancy and then having that sweet, new bundle of joy to love. Capturing all that is so important and I feel so blessed to be a part of this special time in my client’s lives.
