Baby Boy Photoshoot
Meet baby Grant, 3 weeks old with the chunkiest little cheeks!š
Grant’s mom and dad recently had a Maternity session with us so it was extra special to finally meet Grant for a baby boy photoshoot.
We started Grant’s session off with a special setup requested by mom, Mae, but soon realized Grant would need to be wrapped for the session to progress. This often happens when newborns are older than 2 weeks.
Once we wrapped Grant, we were quickly able to get all the special poses of Grant with his mom and dad. And decided to try that first setup again but with Grant wrapped and it worked out great!! That’s going to be a truly special one for Grant’s mom, Mae.
This heart prop was among Mae’s favorite props. Grant decided he wanted to be awake for it and I’m so glad he did. I just love seeing those big beautiful windows into his sweet, little soul.
Grant seemed to be cluster feeding as well, which usually means he’s about to hit a growth spurt. All in all, it was a long baby boy photoshoot, but very successful. His gallery is sure to be amazing! He’s going to look so different in 2 weeks when we have their ordering session!!

I am married to the love of my life who has recently retired from the Army. We are back “home” after being away for 21 years. We have 3 young boys and 1 daughter who is pursuing her college career. As a photographer, I specialize in the newborns and maternity portraits. I just love the amazing process of pregnancy and then having that sweet, new bundle of joy to love. Capturing all that is so important and I feel so blessed to be a part of this special time in my client’s lives.
