Late Maternity Couple

A late maternity couple session in the 9 month of pregnancy. This sweet mom-to-be was due within days of the session. While it is ideal to schedule a session for around 7 months pregnant, it’s not impossible to have a later session. Unfortunately, later in the pregnancy, it gets harder to move around and pose.

The Session

For this session, we met at a local park.  It was getting late and the clouds were moving in fast. Katie borrowed this dress from my client closet and it looked fabulous on her! I think she did an amazing job with wardrobe for both her and her husband. That yellow dress and that blue shirt looked so good together!

I chose this park because it is easy to get to the different spots for pictures by driving on the gravel trail. Katie was at that stage in pregnancy where she nearly had to shuffle to walk. Her husband was so sweet helping her walk and get the spots I needed her in. Such an adorable couple and I was so excited to meet their new bundle of joy come their newborn session.
